Many, many people want to market online. And who would not want this life? The residual income from a successful online promotion can carry on for years. Therein lies the problem-everybody wants to do it.
Hi, My name is Chuck Machado and I have successfully gotten 60% of my websites to page 1 of Google. Two years ago, I didn’t know anything, though I’ve been playing around with online marketing for 12 years. These past two years I had to get serious and underwent the most intense training to learn everything I could. The training came from an empty stomach and an iron will to succeed.
My sites are no walk in the park either. I am in the credit business where everybody in the world wants to be these days. With 85 million competing sites we rank on the first two pages for 5 keyword phrases. three are on page one. Learn from me, but really evaluate if this is right for you. Why am I doing this?
My life and climb up the mountain would have been a lot easier had it not been for all the snake oil being sold. The self proclaimed guru’s promoting junk that simply doesn’t work. The internet is full of this and I’m sick of seeing it. If you are going to do this type of work, you have an investment and you should at least know what value lies ahead.
As the economy tanks, more and more people are investing their time and money in the ever elusive web in order to promote services or products. I am currently doing this type of work, but I will tell you up front that it will require an unparalleled commitment to succeed.
Before I get into the good stuff, I will lay out for you many of the drawbacks. It’s possible you may want to outsource this work after reading what will be required. That would be way OK, if you make this decision because your goal should be to get to page one of Google and then to own page one of Google by having several pages from the same web site show up.
The Bad News
- The competition for this will be in the millions-usually more.
- You will be competing against sites that are 10 plus years old.
- You will gain weight sitting on your ass all day and night.
- You will be very isolated from people in the real world.
- You will have to deal with providers from overseas.
- You will go for a long time without and income or money.
- You will work a min of 12 hours per day, usually more.
- There is only one spot you want-you may fail to get it.
The Good News
- You can make more money than you ever imagined.
- You will have residual income for a long time.
- You will achieve something few people can.
- You will only work three hour days-if that.
- You have the ability to influence many people.
- You Can work from anywhere in the world.
Understanding Google
Google is in business to provide relevant information to their viewers. Think about it. if you are searching for parts for your 1963 VW, what would you type in the search field? Let’s say you type in the key word phrase “VW Parts”. It’s Google’s job to make sure you get exactly the information that you are looking for. This is how they make money-not by charging the consumer, but by providing viable consumers to their advertisers. If this information is not provided, then you will switch to another search engine and Google loses their opportunity to bring revenue to their advertisers.
This is why Google wants to make sure that whoever is in the number one spot on their first page, is an expert. They make this decision by using a number of factors, but an obvious requirement is relevant and outstanding content. You have to really be good. Your ability to write well is critical, but equally important is your understanding of how you will be ranked. This double edge sword means that you will not only be writing for your consumers, but you will be addressing the needs of the search engines as well.

There are millions of search engine optimization companies online. Most of them are no good, but the ones that get results will be very expensive. Your budget will be $50,000 annually and it will take about a year to see any results. The other option is to learn this stuff yourself, but if you decide to do this, contact me because you are going to need help with overseas providers.
